MUS171 — Theory II
3.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: MUS 170 and MUS 180 with a grade of C or better and concurrent enrollment in MUS 181. This is the second course in a series of four courses in music theory. This course begins the study of non-chord tones, diatonic seventh chords voice leading practices, and concludes with secondary functions. Three lecture hours per week.
