MLT214 — Fundamentals of Clinical Chemi

2.5 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: CHEM 120 or CHEM 130 with a grade of C or better, MLT 115 and MLT 116 with a grade of C or better, or department approval. This course is an introduction to basic principles and practices of clinical chemistry. It will include automation, specimen handling, quality control, chemical mathematics, electrolytes, proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, and trace elements. Lectures and student laboratories are included. Two lecture hours and one laboratory hour per week. (Formerly CLT 216)
