MACTR123 — Machine Tool Operation III

2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: MACTR 122 with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course will instruct the student in the safe and correct use of specialized operations dealing with making machine parts requiring assembly and use of fixtures. The student will make temporary fixtures and select feeds, speed, tools, and operations for efficient machining. One lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
