IPP231 — Voice Interpreting 2
3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: IPP 210, 216, 220, and 230 all with a grade of C or better or department approval. This course is a continuation of IPP 230 and will expand student skills with the process of taking a signed message and conveying it into spoken English. It will focus on the receptive interpreting process, including voicing techniques and lip-reading skills, while using the correct register and incorporating vocal expression and appropriate word choices. One lecture and four laboratory hours per week.
