IPP211 — American Sign Language 5

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: IPP 210, 216, 220, and 230 all with a grade of C or better, or department approval. This course is a continuation of skills developed in IPP 210 (ASL IV). IPP 211 (ASL V) will provide students the opportunity to expand their comprehension of medium length stories and narratives. Information on cultural values and attitudes as they relate to the deaf community will be examined. Students will be given the opportunity to express self-generated stories, narratives, and dialogues of medium length in American Sign Language. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week.
