IPP111 — American Sign Language 2
4.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: IPP 110 with a grade of C or better, or department approval. This course is a continuation of skills developed in IPP 110 (ASL I). IPP 111 (ASL II) will provide students the opportunity to continue to expand their knowledge of vocabulary; approximately one thousand new signs will be covered. Students will continue to learn grammatical features of American Sign Language. Continued skill building of expressive and receptive Fingerspelling skills are included. Peer and self-assessment skills are emphasized. Two lecture and four laboratory hours per week.
