HORT241 — Computer Landscape Design
2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment in HORT 213 or department approval. This course is an introduction to the use of computers for landscape design. The course covers software basics, and starting, editing, and completing drawings using DynaSCAPE(c). Two-dimensional commands will be emphasized, but the student will also be introduced to 3-D. The last quarter of the course will allow the student to do an on-site visit and carry the design to completion. One lecture and two laboratory hours per week.
