HIST111 — Early World Civilizations
4.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: Approved reading placement score, or equivalent. This course surveys the major ancient and medieval civilizations of the world from prehistoric origins to about 1600. Topics include civilizations of the Near East and Africa, South and East Asia, and the Americas as well as Europe and the Mediterranean. Four lecture hours per week. (H2 906)
