FRSTK230 — FRSTK Hydraulic/Apprts Op
3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Department approval. This course covers topics concerning fire service mobile apparatus including: Illinois state motor laws as they pertain to fire apparatus, apparatus operations, calculating pump pressures, understanding pump operations, understanding hydraulic systems on ladder and rescue companies, and safe driving procedures. Three lecture hours per week.
