FRSTK229 — Hazardous Materials Chem
3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: FRSTK 110 and FRSTK 114 both with a C or better. This course provides basic chemistry relating to the categories of hazardous materials including recognition, identification, reactivity, and health hazards encountered by emergency services. Students will be able to identify a hazardous materials emergency and the steps to begin a successful remediation. Three lecture hours per week.
