ESL089 — ESL Beginning Literacy
3.0 HR. (ESL) Prerequisite: Appropriate score on the standardized ESL test accepted by the Illinois Community College Board or the College. This course is designed for students with little or no English-speaking proficiency. It centers on developing the basic skills needed to function in everyday American life. Three lecture hours per week. (Formerly ESL 099)
