DPET243 — Engine Performance Analysis

2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: DPET 241 and DPET 242, both with a grade of C or better. This course is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the necessary diagnostic skills required for troubleshooting the diesel engine and fuel system. Emphasis will be placed upon knowledge and skills necessary to assure product reliability and performance. Diesel exhaust emission reduction strategies and troubleshooting will also be emphasized. One lecture hour and three laboratory hours per week.
