(OC) This course is an introduction to the functions and operations of a construction project including bidding, construction contracts and specifications, claims, bonds and insurance, labor compliance and labor relations which work together to reduce construction risk. Covers the regulatory aspects and interpretation of contracts and specifications, and American Institute of Architects (AIA) contract documents for construction. Three lecture hours per week.
