AUTO244 — Emission and Drivability

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: AUTO 115 with a grade of C or better. This course covers the emission control systems used in modern gasoline engines. The use of test equipment and proper repair procedures are emphasized. Drive-ability of the automobile is also covered by studying the interaction of fuel, ignition, and emission systems. Two lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
