ASEP229 — Emissions and Drivability

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Department approval. This course covers the emission controls systems used in modern gasoline engines. The use of test equipment and proper repair procedures are emphasized. Drivability of the automobile is also covered, by studying the interaction of fuel, ignition and emission systems. Two lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
