ARCH131 — Architectural Construction I
4.0 HR. (TC) Prerequisite: ARCH 137 or ARCTK 111 with a grade of C or better. This course is an introduction to building construction for design professionals. It includes the study of materials, products and systems for buildings and the criteria for their selection with emphasis on wood and masonry construction. Legal and economic implications and cost control, written and graphic communications for construction are also included in this course. Two lecture and six laboratory hours per week.
