(0-12) A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts . Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. ** Imbedded in this clinical experience is a capstone experience consisting of a concentrated clinical where the student will be expected to progress from the care of one patient to managing clinical aspects for up to half of the assigned RN’s patient care assignment. Successful completion of this clinical includes a positive clinical evaluation of this segment of the clinical experience by both the assigned RN and the Clinical Instructor. RNSG 2331 Advanced Concepts of Adult Health. (2-3) Application of advanced concepts and skills for the development of the professional nurse's roles in complex nursing situations with adult clients/families with complex health needs involving multiple body systems in intermediate and critica l care settings.
