In addition, students will understand the regulations relating to food handling and processing, and the regulatory agencies that enforce them. Students will gain practical experience harvesting produce, running a farmers market, exploring marketing strategies, and regulatory compliance. Through this experiential learning, students will develop skills to manage food safety risks and promote agricultural products effectively while supporting sustainable farming practices.
