SONOGRAPHY, DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL
SONOGRAPHY, DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL (DMS-AS) AREA OF CONCENTRATION: The program is designed to prepare the student for employment as an entry-level sonographer. The sonographer is skilled by academic and clinical training to perform ultrasound examinations under the supervision of a qualified physician. Students should complete all prerequisite courses prior to applying to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) program. Students are strongly encouraged to complete as many of the general education courses as possible prior to seeking admission to the DMS program. The program
