OTA 235 — Clinical Reasoning
This course is designed to develop and enhance the clinical reasoning skills necessary for effective occupational therapy practice. Students will learn to apply different types of reasoning, including procedural, interactive, and conditional, to make informed decisions throughout the therapy process. The course emphasizes integrating theoretical knowledge, clinical evidence, and client-centered principles. Through a combination of lectures, case studies, simulations, and reflective exercises, students will refine their ability to analyze clinical situations, plan appropriate interventions, and evaluate outcomes to ensure high-quality care.
