Spanish, Associate in Arts Degree
The Associate in Arts Degree in Spanish (AA) provides students with fundamental language skills designed to develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing from the beginning level to intermediate proficiency where students can function comfortably and effectively in a variety of Spanish-speaking environments such as with family, when traveling, at a job, and/or a career. Through the Spanish major, students acquire appreciation and understanding of cultural diversity and communication skills that facilitate the exchange of ideas and transactions vital to social and global connectivity. Students who earn a Spanish AA Degree are prepared to pursue a baccalaureate degree in Spanish.
