History
The Associate of Arts degree in History is designed for students to explore important historical periods covering social movements, wars, religion, technology, and political movements. Students gain insight into pivotal people and events that influenced modern civilization while developing critical thinking and effective communication skills to appreciate diversity and make well-reasoned assessments of how the past has informed the present. The program is transferable and prepares students for careers in education, law, journalism, media, government, historical research, and communication.
