SOC 277 — F Sociology of Religion 3 Units
54 hours lecture per term. This course is an analysis of religion as a social institution. Emphasis will be placed on the influence that religion has on members of U.S. society by examining the role religion plays in people's lives, and legitimates some existing social and economic arrangements.
