SOC 102 — F Social Problems 3 Units

54 hours lecture per term. This course investigates social conditions that contribute to social problems in the U.S. and globally. This course focuses on globalization, poverty, racial and ethnic discrimination, gender stratification and sexism, ageism, crime and the criminal justice system; substance abuse; population growth, environmental problems and sustainability; and war and terrorism.
