72 hours lecture and 54 hours lab per term. This integrated lecture-lab course is an introductory non-majors course that will emphasize basic biological principles, illustrate the structure and function of living organisms and their relationship to the physical world, and develop the student's ability to make effective decisions regarding contemporary issues in natural sciences.
