ANTH 109 — F Primate Behavior 3 Units
54 hours lecture per term. This course is a survey of primates from around the world, with in depth examinations of their behavior, ecology, taxonomy and anatomy. Students will gain experience in the collection and analyzing of behavioral data. Current issues in primate conservation will also be explored. Specific primate species will be used as case studies to further enhance students' knowledge of prosimians, monkeys and apes. Field trips may be required outside of regularly-scheduled class times.
