PSYC 33 — Personal and Social Adjustment

This course provides students with information about psychological principles and concepts important to their personal and social adjustment, taking into account the influence of factors such as their culture, gender, ethnicity, generational cohort, and socio-economic status. An emphasis is placed on the way in which students can apply psychological research and principles to their everyday lives. Topics include personality, lifespan development, physical and mental health, the effects of stress and stress management, gender roles, interpersonal relationships, sexuality, work, and leisure.
