MDHD 65 — MD/HD Powertrain Systems
Students will be introduced to theory and principles of diesel technology power train systems: automatic and manual transmissions, clutches, driveaxles, drivelines, and differential systems. Topics include transmission types, powerflow, disassembly, component inspection, reassembly guidelines, air shift systems, troubleshooting procedures, and gear ratio calculations. Maintenance, diagnosis, service, and repair. Designed to accompany work experience in the trade. (A, CSU)
