HS 42 — Introduction to Alcohol and Drug Counseling
This course provides instruction about the history of the use of alcohol and other mood changing drugs in the U.S. Instruction includes myths and stereotypes of alcohol use, socio-cultural factors that contribute to the use of drugs, patterns and progression of alcoholism, and dynamics in treatment.
