GEOL 5 — Introduction to Oceanography
This course is an introduction to the study of water on earth with an emphasis on physical oceanography. Topics include ocean and shoreline processes, plate tectonics, sea floor morphology, types and distribution of seafloor sediments, ocean sediment transport, ocean chemistry, ocean currents, marine resources, and environmental concerns.
