This course provides in depth concepts on the theory, methodology, and application of public health principles as they relate oral health to systemic health. Statistics used in research and development of public health programs include study design, central tendency and variability, probability, repeated analysis of variance, data association and prediction, and the evaluation of research studies. Special emphasis is placed on the role of the dental team in public health programs and the development of such programs. (CSU)
