DH 720 — Clinical Dental Hygiene III
This course is designed to provide advanced clinical experience in performing treatment for a variety of clinical patient cases. Students will incorporate local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, oral antimicrobials, site-specific chemotherapeutic agents and dietary analysis into the treatment plan. Emphasis is placed on clinical competency, ethics, and comprehensive patient care. (CSU)
