AJ 217 — Background Investigation
This course provides basic techniques and procedures for conducting pre-employment background investigations of peace officer and public safety dispatcher candidates. Curriculum includes addressing the role of the background investigator in the process, legal aspects of pre-employment background investigations, interview skills, sources of information and report preparation.
