ECE 153 — Child, Family and Community

Focus is given to the interrelationships between family, school, and community, while emphasizing historical and socio-cultural factors. The course highlights the processes of socialization and identity development, showing the importance of respectful, reciprocal relationships that empower families, including the study of community agencies and resources that support families.
