ECE 152 — Introduction to Curriculum

This course presents an overview of knowledge and skills related to providing developmentally appropriate curriculum and environments for young children from birth to age eight. The course examines the teacher’s role in supporting development, using theories of learning and development to plan activities and environments while emphasizing the essential role of play. Provides strategies for providing developmentally appropriate practice across the curriculum, while integrating in both indoor and outdoor settings based on observation and assessment. This course focuses on all learning domains of the curriculum.
