ANTH 150 — Native North Americans

This course is a survey of traditional and contemporary native cultures of North America. Emphasis will be placed on the anthropological concepts and theories which facilitate an understanding of the rich diversity of American Indian life, including economics, social organization, politics, religion and rituals, and a variety of current issues and other topics. Formerly ANTH 005.
