AUTO 120 — Automatic Transmission Systems 2.5 Units
This course will prepare students to diagnose and repair front and rear-wheel drive automatic transmission systems. Topics include stall and pressure testing, torque converters, planetary, CVT, and helical gear systems, overhaul practices, valve body repair, and on-car service techniques, covering both theoretical and practical application. Computerized power-train diagnosis and repair will also be covered, preparing students for the A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Exam.
