AJ 010 — Introduction to Administration Of Justice 3 Units
Students examine U.S. law enforcement, the courts, and corrections, including history, crime measures, legal praxis, and the role of the justice system in a pluralistic society. The responsibility of criminal justice personnel, the legal process, and the structure and function of law enforcement, the courts, and corrections, with an emphasis on the development of criminal law, crime causation, affirmative defenses, and sentencing and incarceration are examined.
