This course further develops the roles of the professional nurse and concepts of nursing practice with application to persons with complicated medical, surgical, and rehabilitation needs across the lifespan. Clinical reasoning skills are emphasized as they apply to concepts with movement toward clinical judgment. Development of knowledge, skills and attitudes occurs in the nursing laboratory and a variety of clinical settings within the healthcare environment.
