An introduction to a variety of religious teachings, rituals and customs found in past history and the present world. Examples for study will be drawn from both traditional and modern societies with an emphasis on discovering the nature of religion and the role it has played in cultural history worldwide. (1.1) Fulfills the ECC/IAI General Education/Humanities requirement.
