The Introduction to Paraprofessional Education course provides an overview of the paraprofessional position, role and responsibilities. This course will prepare participants for career as a paraprofessional educator, instructional aide or teacher assistant. Participants will identify instructional strategies, classroom management, cross-cultural, exceptional, legal and ethical perspectives in paraprofessional education.
