VET250S — Veterinary Nursing Care and Techniques
4.00 credit hours Overview of the nursing care of dogs and cats. Discussion will cover toxin ingestion, fluid therapy, wound management, nursing care of hospitalized animals, and emergency protocols. Hands-on techniques including venipuncture, parenteral injections, catheter placement/care and fluid therapy will be covered. Live animals may be used for demonstration.
