VET160S — Husbandry and Wellness of Small Animals
3.00 credit hours Overview of the basic husbandry of dogs and cats with a focus on wellness and preventive medicine. The course will introduce common breeds, proper grooming, and physical examination. Emphasis on completing proper handling/restraint, performing physical examinations, grooming, completing ocular diagnostic tests, and administering oral medication will be incorporated with 32 hours of hands-on experience.
