PTA120S — Biomechanics, Kinesiology & Pathology

6.00 credit hours Role and practice of the physical therapist assistant who works under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist. Essential foundational content is built upon to effectively provide interventions for patients/clients in the areas of body mechanics, transfers, posture, goniometry, manual muscle testing, gait training, gait analysis, exercise techniques and application of normal kinesiological principals. Study, analysis, and treatment of pathological joint conditions are learned and demonstrated. Lab Fee: $5 (Additional fees will apply for online, flex and webflex sections.)
