Fire Prevention and Technology (Co-op option available)
The Fire Prevention and Technology diploma program offers students the opportunity to explore the science and art of fire protection and prevention, including detection, suppression, prevention and enforcement. Utilizing state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and current industry software, students will prepare for a career in this rapidly growing and developing field. Students will work with experts in all areas of the fire and life safety industry and will gain the practical and theoretical skills to enforce the fire code, along with planning, designing, installing and maintaining current and leading-edge fire protection equipment.
