HIT 2217 — Revenue Cycle Management 4 Credit Hours

This course examines all aspects of the healthcare revenue cycle including patient registration, charge capture, coding, claim submission, insurance remittance, payments, and denials. Students will examine government and third-party payment models, and the relationship between clinical documentation and reimbursement. (4 lecture hours)
