FIRE 2278 — Paramedic I 12 Credit Hours
Students will be introduced to the role of the paramedic and the ethical and legal aspects that influence field practice skills. Emphasis will be placed on a foundational understanding of pathophysiology, lifespan development, pharmacology, medication administration, assessment, communication, documentation, medical conditions, diseases, and treatment protocols. (6 lecture hours, 8 lab hours, 4 clinical hours)
