FIRE 1181 — Public Safety Telecommunications I 3 Credit Hours

An introduction into the exciting career of a 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator. Successful completion of this course is required to take the nationally-recognized Emergency Telecommunicator Certification test. Students will combine classroom and lab exercises to demonstrate the skills and abilities needed as a 9-1-1 Public Safety Telecommunicator. (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
