Prerequisites: As required by college. This course focuses on principles and applications of commercial and industrial wiring. Topics include, electrical safety practices, an overview of National Electric Code requirements as applied to commercial and industrial wiring, conduit bending, circuit design, pulling cables, transformers, switch gear, and generation principles. 127 - PRINCIPLES OF INDUSTRIAL PUMPS AND PIPING SYSTEMS (3) This course provides instruction in the fundamental concepts of industrial pumps and piping systems. Topics include pump identification, operation, and installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, and piping systems, and their installation. Upon course completion, students will be able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial pumps and piping systems. PREREQUISITES: As required by college.
