HSM 265 — PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM

This course explores major concepts in tourism, what makes tourism possible, and how tourism can become an important factor in the development of the economy. Topics covered include introductory principles, study approaches, the importance of tourism, tourism history and careers, elements of tourism supply and demand, planning and development principles, marketing, research, regulation and deregulation, and government agencies affecting development. Upon completion, students will be able to analyze the impact of various facets of the tourism industry. Courses | 198 ILT-Industrial Electronics Technology 240 - SENSORS TECHNOLOGY AND APPLICATIONS (3) PREREQUISITE: As determined by college. COREQUISITE: As determined by college. This course provides a study of industrial electronic sensors. Topics include, but are not limited to, photo- electric, temperature, gas and humidity, pressure and strain sensors. The lab enables students to test, and troubleshoot electronic sensors and sensor circuits. Upon completion, students should be able to select, install, test, and troubleshoot industrial electronic sensors. This course is also taught as IAT 240, & AUT 232.
